I have 20 years experience in team leadership. During that time I have managed teams consisting of as many as 30 geographically dispersed members in project management, product management, engineering, and support roles.

Mentoring

Identifying and nurturing a team members talents and interests helps ensure their future success and the future success of the team. I have mentored team members on personnel management, coding, SQL, project management, and program management.

Employee Development

Identifying opportunities to develop team member skills is critical not just towards the development of the individual but, for the team. A team member learning a new skill today can be a team member mentoring others on that skill in the future. 

Project Management

I have over 35,000 hours of project management experience leading projects relying on Six Sigma, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. I have successfully pursued projects focused on software and product development, quality control, and workflow optimization.

Product Management

I have experience iteratively developing and managing products ranging from richmedia ad technology, sponsored content, internal workflow enhancement tools, and SaaS platform components.

Program Management

I have developed and led programs focusing on a variety of disciplines including process / workflow management, knowledge management, external vendor certification, and quality control.

Programmatic Advertising

I have over 5 years experience with program management, project management, and product support while working on Demand Side Platforms (DSPs). I have built global support organizations and large scale programs governing usage of DSPs.

Advertising Technologies

I have close to 20 years experience working with advertising technologies deployed on publisher sites, used to host and distribute advertisers marketing materials, and Programmatic Demand Side Platforms (DSPs).

Email Marketing

I have experience leading teams that provided operational and DevOps support of proprietary email marketing platforms.

Jira Cloud and Server Administration

I have managed, and contributed to the management, of Jira Cloud and Server instances used by SMBs and large Enterprise. This includes user management, service desk agent management, and management of migration efforts.

Jira Service Desk Administration

I have built multiple Jira Service Desk projects and associated customer portals including knowledge bases and issue notification systems in both Jira Cloud and Jira Server.

Confluence Administration

I have managed Confluence instances and integrated Confluence spaces with specialized functions such as host for web content and as Knowledge Bases connected with Jira Service Desk projects.

SQL

I have over 15 years experience working with SQL: authoring and executing queries in MySQL, Hive, Oracle, and Vertica, and mentoring team members on the development of their SQL skills. 

HTML and CSS

I have over 20 years experience with HTML and CSS, authoring and manipulating code in various SDKs however, I prefer using simple text editors. 

JavaScript

I have over 20 years experience working with JavaScript. Self-taught, I have focused on using JavaScript in internal tools I have created to enable operational teams to execute tasks on submitted assets.
